- Rules:
- All rules made under the powers given to the Committee by Rule 9 including amendments and repeals shall be brought to the notice of the members by being posted on the Club Notice Board and by circulation to members for inclusion in their copies of the Rules of the Club and shall be deemed to be in force from the date of publication.
- Entrance Fee:
- Entrance Fee (Not-Refundable) for Permanent Membership shall be
- General Category-Rs.5,00,000/-,
- Member’s Children–Rs.75,000/- and
- Corporate Members(15years)-Rs.7,00,000/-on application plus service tax.
- Interest Free Deposit (Refundable):
- Temporary Membership shall be Rs.1,00,000/-.
- Subscription:
- The subscription of each class of members upon the coming into force by these Rules shall be :
- Permanent Members: Rs.350/- per month payable monthly. Applicable taxes will be extra.
- Corporate Members: Rs.12000/- per year and payable in April. Applicable taxes will be extra.
- Privileged Spouse Members: Rs.175/- per month payable monthly. Applicable taxes will be extra.
- Senior Dependent Members: Rs. 350/- per month payable monthly. Applicable taxes will be extra.
- Temporary Members: Rs.550/- per month payable monthly. Applicable taxes will be extra.
- Affiliated Members/ Guests :
- Mangalore Club members shall enter all their Guest names in the VISITORS BOOK at the reception and obtain individual “GUEST MEMBER ENTRY CARD” for each guest, upon arrival. No service will be provided to guests without the “GUEST MEMBER ENTRY CARD”.
- Affiliated members / Guests shall pay visitors subscription of Rs. 25/- per each day except on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays, which will be 50/- per day plus applicable taxes(Ladies, Gents and Children above 12 years) whether they use Bar/ Dining facilities, Games facilities or not. ( No credit facilities)
- Affiliated Members are not permitted to bring in guests except reciprocating clubs.
- An affiliated club member can make use of our club facilities not more than 5 days in a month.
- Members Account:
- The bills of members shall be open to inspection daily by the member concerned. All bills should be settled by the end of the month following that in which the amounts were incurred. Interest at 3% per month shall be charged on amounts overdue.
- However, no member shall have an outstanding amount of more than Rs. 25,000/- at any time. Bills incurred for parties of over 10 people shall be settled within 5 days from the date of the party. The Committee may in its discretion stop all supplies to any member whose outstanding bill exceeds the amounts prescribed above.
- A member is given a maximum of 90 days to settle his account from the date of Monthly Statement of Bills. Services and Supplies will be stopped to any member whose outstanding Bills exceeds a period of 90 days from the date of his Monthly statement of Bills.
- Should any dispute arise at any time respecting any item or items in any bill rendered, the same shall be brought to the notice of the Hon. Secretary in writing within 15 days of the date of dispatch of monthly statement of bills after which errors cannot be recognized.
- A registered notice may be sent to any member whose bill is not paid for 90 days from the date of statement, will be termed as ” Defaulter” and the names of those members will be displayed on the notice board of the Club as per Rules and Regulations. All services including food and beverage to such members will be suspended and circulated to affiliated
- Hours of the Club:
- The Club shall ordinarily remain open from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 midnight subject to any alternations/ extension the Committee/ Secretary may from time to time deem necessary. No service will be provided after 3.00 p.m. and 12.00 m.n. Lights of the Club will be switched off at 1.00 a.m.
- The Secretary/ Committee may limit the timings for the bar and meals at their discretion for the convenience of the Club.

- Rules and Regulations for Parties:
- Bookings:
- Bookings for The Morgan Room (AC Hall), The Pool Side Terrace and The Lawns, Lower Lawns, Riviera Lounge and Terrace Grill can be made in advance.
- Members must pay the equivalent of the rent charges for the above locations and fill up the required form in person within 48 hours of telephonic booking.
- If you are hosting a party of over 50 people, the food order must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. If the party has less than 50 people, the food order must be placed at least 24 hours in advance. Spot orders cannot be entertained as it causes tremendous inconvenience and delay to our members who are using the club dining facilities
- Categories: Parties have been categorized as follows:
- Category A: For members and their family (Family includes spouse, parents and dependent children).
- Category B: Other than those falling in category A.
- Tariff:
- Rentals: (visitors subscription is included wherever rentals are applicable)
- The Morgan Room (AC Hall): Category A – Rs.4,000/- Category B – Rs.10,000/-
- The Lawn : Category A – Rs.4,000/- Category B – Rs.10,000/-
- Lower Lawn (Umbrella Bar) :Category A : 9 to 15 guests – Rs. 500/- From 16 to 30 guests 1000/-
- The Morgan Room (AC Hall) and Lawns can be booked together : Charges will be as a sum of above.
- The Pool Side Terrace: Category A – Rs.500/- Category B – Rs.2,000/-. Upto 50 guests are allowed.
- Riviera Lounge & Terrace Grill: Category A- 9 to 15 guests Rs.1000.00. 16 to 30 guests Rs.2000.00 in the afternoon during weekdays i.e, Monday to Friday only. Soft Music is allowed.
- Cancellation Charges:
- 10% of the applicable rent if cancelled before 7 days of the Party/Event.
- 50% of the rent if cancelled before 72 hours and within 7 days of Party/Event.
- 100% of the rent if cancelled within 72 hours of the Party/Event
- Other terms and conditions:
- For external catering, Rs. 50 per person for Category A & Rs. 60 per person for Category B will be charged extra. External catering will not be permitted on the Pool Side Terrace, Riviera Lounge and Terrace Grill
- For parties catered by the Club, food and beverages (F & B) will be charged at actuals. A service charge of 5% on F & B is being levied for Category A and Category B.
- Members shall remit 50% advance as estimated by the Club Manager for parties exceeding 50 Guests. For other parties Members shall remit payment within 5 days after the event. Payment can be made by cheques / DD’s or credit / debit cards or by bank transfers only if the bill amount exceeds Rs. 20,000/-. Credit bills will be issued at the end of the party or on the next day.
- The member hosting the party / event must be present during the entire duration of the party / event and sign on the bill presented at the end. Guest signatures on party bill are invalid.
- Dj / live music are permitted subject to noise levels being within permissible limits. The Club reserves the right to disallow extremely loud music. Dance music up to 11.30 pm followed by soft music up to 12.00 midnight. Any music where volume controls through DJ set is not possible like brass bands; panchavadyam, etc are not allowed.
- Sound/lighting will be sourced only from Club approved vendors and must be paid for by the members.
- Day parties can commence from 11.00 am and shall cease by 3.00 pm. Night parties can commence by 7.30pm and cease by 12.00 midnight. Liquor and food service shall cease by 11.30 pm. Music shall cease by 12.00 midnight. The premises must be vacated by 1.00 am.
- The Umbrella Bar and the lower lawns can be utilized for Category ‘A’ parties only. These areas cannot be utilized for Category ‘B’ parties.
- Banners/placards are not permitted outside of the areas being used for the party.
- Guests will park cars outside of those areas designated as Members parking.
- Guests are not permitted to loiter around the club premises and must confine themselves to the party area. Boisterous and unruly behavior will not be permitted.
- Members and guest must follow the Clubs dress code. The Club reserves the right to evict those improperly dressed.
- Any damages and breakage to Club property will be to the members account.
- Wines & Spirits are not permitted to be brought into the Club. These will be purveyed only by the Club.
- If external catering is used the caterer must remove all serving vessels and equipment before leaving the premises. The same rule applies for all external suppliers like backdrop, lighting etc.
- A fine of 25% of the total bill will be levied for violations of the above rules.
- In case of any dispute, the decision of the Hon. Secretary will be binding on the member.
- Fireworks and Fire Lanterns are not permitted in the premises.
- Note: Rates are subject to change without prior notice and taxes will be extra as applicable.
- Minimum Billing:
- A sum of Rs.2000/- has to be spent by the permanent member & senior dependent member quarterly, failing which it will be debited to their account.
- Charges for Meals/Bar:
- Charges for meals etc. shall be decided and revised from time to time by the Committee/Secretary as they deem necessary. Such revisions shall be displayed on the Club Notice Board. No outside liquors are permitted inside the club.
- Club Staff:
- In the event of a member having occasion to find fault with a Staff of the Club, he shall report the matter in writing to the Hon. Secretary who will either deal with the case himself or refer it to the Committee.
- Club Staff may not be employed on private errands for members

- Accommodation:
- Members while reserving accommodation for their guests should mention the names of their guests, and place from where they are arriving to extend the facilities to genuine guests.
- Rooms booked from 15th December to 15th January will be charged 25% extra on the existing room rent prevalent.
